We’ve been having an absolutely fantastic winter so far. Had a decent amount of snow but not too much. We’ve had some very cold weather but some very moderate days as well. Honestly no complaints thus far.
Doing a ton of snowshoeing to some of our favorite spots on our land and off. Hopefully we have a few weeks left of this good snow because I’m not ready to quit quite yet.
A highlight was the trek down back for some deer meat stew. Shared with some family

Napping in the woods is an essential skill that must be practiced.

A neighbor was nice enough to groom the larger trails for us. Unfortunately for me, not until I already broke trail down to Mulligan Stream.

No winter is complete without a sleigh ride. Draft Acres right here in Palmyra does an outstanding job. Complete with snacks and a warming hut.

Some of the snowshoeing is “work”. Like I do it to tap the maple trees, some would call that work I guess 🙂

I drew this and then asked AI to add some color. Geeze looks pretty good AI.
