Sunday morning spin, came back up through one of the fields to check it out.

Even as you age ya gadda have some fun. Sometimes it's true there is a fine line between pleasure and pain.
Not everyone's level of fitness, risk tolerance and need for a thrill is the same. What may seem as mundane to you may be heart pounding action for someone else.
Just be you and go as fast or as slow, train as hard or as little as you like.

Not all rides are an epic excursion whistling along flowy single track. Most rides are local, utility rides. Fun but not totally rad, (rad is that a word still?) I still enjoy my home track rides and they do prepare me for those times I am gliding along some sweet single track.
I do have a small Bluetooth speaker in my water bottle cage. The music will probably put me on the Youtube bad boy list- sorry.

I don't always ride with my music playing, in fact I seldom do. But once in awhile I find it motivating. The music selection ranges from Chicago Blues to The Hu and Pearl Jam, (Even Flow is a great spinning or downhill tune).

You look back at certain things in your life that at the time seems like it will be that way forever. Then one day you think back and remember doing things that brought you joy, dropped out of favor by life and time.
Can you remember the last time you kissed your kids boo-boo? Last time you roller skated or went and played on a playground?
Someday you will put your mountain bike away and never touch it again. I certainly hope it's because I died or something but reality is that day will come.

Moral?? Ride Baby Ride.

Nice relatively short hike, under 3 miles out and back. Beautiful views of Camden Maine, Camden Harbor and surrounding area.
